Shy Tiger BPA-free Human Grade Silicone Finger Brushes are a safe an non-toxic alternative to plastic.  Some local councils offer recycling facilities for silicone otherwise it is also possible to recycle silicone yourself. It is generally recommended that small breed dogs manage better with finger brushes and large breed dogs with toothbrushes but it is very much an individual preference.  Shy Tiger suggest using a spatula (or the end of a teaspoon) to scoop a small amount of toothpaste (Soothe and Clean Dental) on to the brush and gently brush your pet’s teeth and gums, aiming for two to three times per week for good results.  If your pet is new to brushing please introduce slowly with lots of rewards!
